The campus is on a site of 6.5 acres which was acquired at different stages .No master plan was drawn up since the programme of construction could not be defined. Instead colleges were built as and when the need arose and land acquired. The campus when completed consisted of the School of Economics and Management, College of Commerce Studies, Graduate School of Technology, School of Packaging Technology and School for Vedic Studies.

The first building was built in 1996 and housed a School of Economics and Management. The building was T shaped and built on a triangular site. One side of the building was parallel to one of the edges of the site. This helped widen the entrance .The programme was for seminar rooms, teaching spaces, a library and computer labs. The junction of the two wings of the building was widened to form a circular drum which serves as an interactive space. This design element occurs in all subsequent buildings.

The second building that came up in 1998 was the College of Commerce Studies. The plan of the college is split level and consists of lecture halls grouped around a courtyard. A free standing screen wall provides protection from heat and monsoon rains.

The third structure was for the Graduate School of Technology. Built in 2001, it was a wing attached to the School of Management .Though different in plan due to specialized requirements the architectural language is complementary to the building built earlier.
